Facial Rejuvenation: Cosmetic and Facial Acupuncture
Facial acupuncture has been shown extremely beneficial in those suffering from Bell's Palsy, Trigeminal Neuralgia, migraines, or stroke. Points on the face are used, and often times include motor points. Points will also be placed in hands and legs to address underlying conditions. Cosmetic acupuncture utilizes facial points as well as distal points on the hands and legs to relax and strengthen facial muscles. Using points on the face brings oxygen and blood flow to the face and initiates collagen production, working to achieve a cosmetic change to the face. Facial acupuncture also can be cosmetically beneficial to help fine lines and wrinkles by allowing muscle tension release and increased blood flow to the facial area. Treatments also include facial cupping and gua sha.
Treatments are recommended once a week for 12 weeks for best results.

Ear Acupuncture - NADA/AcuDetox
The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) or Acu-detox protocol uses 5 specific points to needle in each ear. The protocol was originally discovered and used for addiction and substance abuse, but has since evolved and proven successful in treating: -Trauma and PTSD -Stress and Anxiety -Mild Depression -Weight loss/gain -Smoking cessation and other addictions -Immunity -Relaxation
Recent studies have also shown NADA to be beneficial with issues and side-effects related to menopause or chemotherapy.
Because everyone gets the same treatment, the appointment time is shorter, as there is a much shorter intake. So if you are new to acupuncture and want a treatment to ease you into it, NADA is a good place for you to start.

Community Acupuncture
Community acupuncture began in China and is mostly how acupuncture is practiced in Asia. Treatments are provided in a common room where all patients are seated comfortably in a chair or recliners during the session. Often times, people may choose to bring a friend or family member with them for a “together experience” that enhances the therapeutic effects of the collective healing. Because of the seated and group nature of the community setting, patients remained clothed, acupuncture points are on arms and legs as well as the ear; areas easily accessible to the practitioner.
Benefits to community acupuncture other than the obvious benefits of acupuncture are the added therapeutic effect of community healing. Community acupuncture is offered at a lower cost than a private acupuncture sessions. The more affordable fee allows patients to receive acupuncture more frequently, which is how acupuncture works best. This allows patients to receive the care they need in order to feel better.
Costs are usually on a sliding scale, based upon what the patient is able to afford. Average costs between £10-20 a session, that still includes a patient intake and up to 30 minute treatment.
